Depends on the spec of your engine.

As said, group A is good, but if u can afford em the cometic are better, WRC is a bit overkill but again depends on ur spec, also the cometic are slightly thicher depending which u get so helps lower the comp ratio a bit if ur heads been a skimmed IIRC

Ive just had this same dilemma, im going for the cometic as I think the group a's just seem to be a little over hyped and a lot of cash for what they are, and if you weigh the £150 for the cometic against the £300+ for the wrc gasket and think that it does virtually the same job I know which wins in my mind!

You can get a cometic tripple which is 57"Thou the same as grp A
I would personally reconmend cometic over grpA but if you got wire rung block use grp A

duno if it is right or not but i was told if you have a wire rung block then you could just use a standard gasket as it creates suficient pressure.
could be a load of bollocks though

cozzycol,

Ive just had to have my 200 block decked for a cometic as it had been wire rung that was the advise given to me
I spose if you think about it logically a steel gasket wont compress propperly in to the groove of the ring wheras a carbon gasket will
Hope that helps

They skim it so its flat rather than having the groves for the wire rings 2 sit in mate

IIRC dont u just need a standard gasket if u have rings due to the rings improving seal rather than a group a??
