Default any car insurance /claims peeps on here?

Some muppet drove into the back of my ST24 whilst i was parked up at work, so i have no idea who did it, and have had the CCTV checked as it was parked in a parking bay by a cable and wireless buliding(spoke to cable and wireless and they looked at it and said they could see nowt, which means one of there vans hit me then )

I am fully comp on my insurance with 6yrs no claims (not protected) if i go through my insurance do i lose all 6yrs or only a couple?

cheers

You will only lose 2 if you have any sort of normal policy
you may also lose a discount for being claim free or have a very small load applied-nothing too bad-the 2 years ncb step back will sting a bit though

I had 4 years last march when I got insured and had a crash 2 weeks later so they took 2 years off me. This year they sent my renewal through with 5 years no claims, my crash was listed on the policy and price had gone down. Phoned them yesterday morning to take out the policy and they said they've made a mistake and will have to phone me on monday to let me know what they're gonna do.

They have sent out my renewal without me phoning them and have given a price with all information correct, do they have to honour this price? I never had protected no claims.

They will always send out a renewal without asking you, the fact that it's wrong probably wont mean anything sorry -if it means they lose a customer or save a few hundred quid they will probably be happier to lose you.
Saying that if you have any other policies or family members with policies this can be looked on more favourably as they would obviously all cancel if your ins company dont honour the price

No other policies with this insurance company. Looks like I'll have to look elsewhere unless they come back with a decent price.
