Made in mirror polished stainless steel:

This is a Swedish style inlet plenum designed to fit all Cosworth models and replace the restrictive OE inlet plenum and elbow design which can limit the power your YB produces.
It's made out of mirror polished stainless steel - meaning it's stronger than similar aluminium versions, and it will hold it's finish much easier - it just needs wiping over with a chamois every now and then - unlike aluminium items which stain so easily.
The steel is 1.5mm thick on the rolled edge, and 5mm thick on the end plates. The backing plate has predrilled bolt holes to line up with the OE inlet manifold, and is 6mm thick.
It also has on the bottom edge (not visible once fitted, for a tidier appearance) holes pretapped to match the OE outlets on the original plenum- such as Charge air temp, breather and vacuum hoses etc. Just swap over all the original fittings on to this item and you're sorted.
The front end plate is predrilled and cut to suit the 4 x 4 Throttle body (which is the minimum you'll need for big bhp conversions)
IT IS ALSO SUPPLIED WITH A MATCHING POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL THROTTLE CABLE BRACKET TO SUIT A 4 X 4 THROTTLE BODY. I WILL ADD PICTURES OF THIS PART IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. IT IS BETTER THAN THE BLACK BRACKET ON THE RED CAR IN THE CURRENT PICS!!!! PICS TO FOLLOW....
See pictures - you're bidding on this actual item in the PERFECT condition you see in the pictures.
Payment by Paypal or bank transfer ideally for mine and your security, cheques are ok, but far slower!
On ebay at the mo at 99p, grab yourself a bargain!!

Nice pic matey, I'll try and get some pics of another one fitted on a friend's 540bhp Cossie as well.
Never got this one on the car so no photos of it fitted, but basically looks the same as the one B9KOS has shown!
Cheers

Best to use Doug's link and contact Martin directly for his prices as it may vary form customer to customer (depending on how much you're having off him - or if you're a regular customer or whatever).
Either way contact him via Doug's link and Bob's your uncle!
Cheers

B9KOS - Didn't realise that, glad it found it's way to a good home!

We plan in the future to set up on here as a trader, but have just been testing the water to see what, if any, interest there is in these. It looks promising so far judging by all the PMs and Ebay questions I've had.
As soon as we have registered as Traders on here, and got a website set up and a load of stock made we will put up a Announcement type post in General Discussion, and you'll see us on a banner at the top of the screen!
Timescale, I'd say looking at the next few months, hopefully in time for most of the show season
Thanks for your interest

Good questions, and ones that others have asked by PM so I'd better clarify / explain things for everyone to see.
To fit this plenum you need to:
1) Buy some M6x25mm (approx) bolts in stainless steel
2) Buy some Flange sealant, as this plenum doesn't use a standard gasket. I'd recommend something like Blacktite or similar product from Loktite etc
3) Drill out the threaded M6 holes in your original inlet plenum to approx 6.5mm - 7mm (Large enough to push your new bolts through basically)
4) Put new plenum with flange sealant onto your inlet manifold and bolt through from the inlet manifold INTO the threaded M6 holes we have cut into the inlet plenum.
Stand back and put your shades on, admiring your 500+ bhp blingy bit!
Job jobbed.
If we ever sell these properly then we will include the correct size bolts, the flange sealant and fitting instructions.

By that you mean you'd be interested in one when we get into production? If so then cool, sounds like we are on the right path, if only we could get them made up for sensible money we'd be up and running as Traders in no time.
Cheers

Roose do hoses to fit from the intercooler to the new plenum
Is the intercooler outlet in that picture pointing upwards ? Still cant help thinking it loks very tricky in that area.
What are the pros or cons as to using stainless, as opposed to aluminium, as far as heat retention/dissipation are concerned ?

Going to do some copying and pasting for some answers for you guys!
Here you go:
Alloy may be better at heat transfer, but as the item is an inlet plenum not an Intercooler, and is on the cold side of the engine I really don't think this will be any form of issue at all.
The reason I've made this in stainless is on the grounds of strength - a friend has a 540bhp Escort Cossie, his ally plenum split twice. He now runs this same plenum with no problems.
As mentioned by EscosNige, he was supplied his plenum by Reyland, who in turn has bought it from us. I think that is fair endorsement
And:
This item is the plenum only. The throttle bracket in the pics on the red car was custom made for the gent who bought the last plenum I sold. It's a very simple job for anyone who can weld / fabricate. I plan in the future to sell these brackets as part of a kit, together with the plenum and fuel rail - but that is some months away. The intercooler doesn't need to be modified to fit this plenum, but as can be seen from the pic showing the custom throttle bracket, the boost hose does need to bend slightly - on the red car (An Escort Cossie) I believe the bend was a Samco 130 degree hose from Demon Tweeks or similar.
Hoses and brackets etc do need to be custom made / adapted, but if you're fitting this and going for 500bhp+ then a little bit of fabrication and speaking to Roose for hoses should be quite within your/ your tuners abilities!
Hope this covers it for you guys - anything else just fire away
Simon

Hi KH
I'm not selling them yet as I'm not registered as a trader on here yet (still tyring to get the bits produced)
I've sent you a PM though telling you how you can get one now if you can't wait till I'm fully set up on here.
Thanks,
Simon

Item RELISTED as the winning bidder has still not paid up. Will name and shame in full if I do not receive payment before this auction closes.
For those that asked last time, I now include a bling throttle bracket to fit a 4 x4 throttle body. I'll post pics up in the next couple of days.
Bloody Ebay!
