Going to do some copying and pasting for some answers for you guys!

Here you go:

Alloy may be better at heat transfer, but as the item is an inlet plenum not an Intercooler, and is on the cold side of the engine I really don't think this will be any form of issue at all.

The reason I've made this in stainless is on the grounds of strength - a friend has a 540bhp Escort Cossie, his ally plenum split twice. He now runs this same plenum with no problems.

As mentioned by EscosNige, he was supplied his plenum by Reyland, who in turn has bought it from us. I think that is fair endorsement

And:

This item is the plenum only. The throttle bracket in the pics on the red car was custom made for the gent who bought the last plenum I sold. It's a very simple job for anyone who can weld / fabricate. I plan in the future to sell these brackets as part of a kit, together with the plenum and fuel rail - but that is some months away. The intercooler doesn't need to be modified to fit this plenum, but as can be seen from the pic showing the custom throttle bracket, the boost hose does need to bend slightly - on the red car (An Escort Cossie) I believe the bend was a Samco 130 degree hose from Demon Tweeks or similar.

Hoses and brackets etc do need to be custom made / adapted, but if you're fitting this and going for 500bhp+ then a little bit of fabrication and speaking to Roose for hoses should be quite within your/ your tuners abilities!

Hope this covers it for you guys - anything else just fire away
Simon
