after it being sat around for 8 months.........
i already sent the head off to be reconned & ported, i have the new managment, so just got to order all the engine parts next week, i'm not going for anything silly, was thinking of a 2.4 at one point but i dont think it will suit my driving (+ the crank & rods are about 3k

got a few silly jobs to do aswell, i have a new matrix to go in, another front splitter after some twat caught it & broke it off, 500 fog lamp grills & smoked indicators, got to decide on some rear lights, was thinking of the clear top with red lower, but i think the smoked top red lower will look better. i fancy another set of wheels aswell, it has 18" super t's, but i will try to get some old style mo's. already have big brakes to go on, i will do that when its run in.
the spec will be, standard ybp block with + .50 pocketed pistons, .25 undersized shells etc, ybp ported head, standard valves & cams, Omex 600 series ecu with custom loom, 803 dark greens to run in (i have a base map to suit) then i will change to some high impedence injectors, probably R.C. developments 500cc ones, i'm undecided on the turbo at the moment, either a roller bearing T34 or a GT30, the turbo will be controlled by an Apexi avc-r boost controller.
i don't want silly power, around 400 bhp will be fine, i want to keep it realistic.

after the engine laying on the workshop floor for nearly 10 months i finally went & stripped it today
only thing left in the block is the crank & oil pump! i'll drop it to the engineers next week, get it all measured up then order the parts.

should be ok when its done, not going for silly power, 400bhp will do!

at last i have pulled my fingure out
should have all the engine bits sorted for the end of this week
need to get the block machined for long studs then i can start putting it back together

the blocks been bored & decked, i dropped the long studs to the engineer the end of last week, he reckons the studs will be in & the pistons machined sometime next week, when its back i can crack on, i think the hardest part will be finding all the parts
