I'm 88kg (14stone), and can do 8x160kg on seated press, 3sets x 15 reps with 100kg bench bar and do 3 sets x 10 reps incline bench on 42kg each arm dumbells, but been doing it for 16 years now

well looking at most of the lifts mentioned, i would say the vast majority are talking shit, ive been training for years and remember how long it took me to break the 100kg barrier.
although one or two names do look familiar from muscletalk....

I wondered why no-one was keen on proving themselves.

Would find it difficult to put up a vid as i train at home alone, but i am sure a picture of people will give everyone a kind of idea if there bullshitters or not......

To be fair it would sound a little bent sayng to your training partner "please can you film me benching so I can host it online for a bunch of lads to watch on a car forum"

Keiron i'm not for a second questioning your ability to do it! Pics tend to prove whether people can or can't do it.

Yeah OK!! what one rep moving it about 3 inches on a smith machine!! or your mate 'spotting' you and taking around 50kg's or you are very much mistaken and thought the plates were KG's instead they were lb's!
Makes me laugh threads like this, 99% of the people who reply will add a 'Few' KG's (its human nature) half dont have a clue what 'form' is (and probably dont care) and if asked to produce a picture of their Arnold like body they probably couldnt find it because in reality they look shite!!!!!

I was thinking that if someone started the ball rolling with a vid then others may follow. Bit naive of me I spose.

i was the same as that! took a long time to be able to lift 100kg but once done i went from there upwards pretty quick. my personal best is 3 lifts of 130kg when i weighed a little over 14st. i started back about 5 months ago after a couple years out but already back up to 120kg, only a couple of lifts but can bench 90kg x15 100kg x11 and 7 to 8 lifts on 110kg.

I've got a good one for you. My mate, who is a big lad (26 stone at the beginning of the year), has just started back at the gym for fitness purposes to shed some weight. Anyway he told me today its a bit disheartening that he can only do the 30kgs dumbells now as he used be on the 60kgs. So I said for what exercise as it makes a difference and he replied with flies. Man I ripped the shit out of him, flies with 60kgs dumbells. I told him that I would pay to see him do the 30's with good form, let alone 60's and he was adamant. Got up the gym tonight and spoke to his old training partner who thinks he may have only just been benching with them, let alone flies.
He is a fucking strong ole beast but come on.

Who's bringing the bench to Ford Fair then. A 75 kg lad repping 100kgs is some serious statement to be fair.
I've got a 67kg mate who tried telling me he was doing 20kg flys at his first ever weights session. That's not impressive, that's damn impossible.
