Default advice needed training program diet etc

hi all been reading through the thread and have found interesting and have decided to post up

i'm 23, 18 stone, 6''2 tall and well built with most of my weight on my belly and man boobs, and basically upper body, lower body is skinny lol

ive tried to loose weight by dieting, hypnotherapy.....basically everything and cant seam to find a way.

As a early xmas pressy my gf said she'd pay 20 sessions with a personal trainer to see if this helps,

ive been going for 8 weeks now, every wednesday doing a mixture of cardio and free weights,

6 weeks ago i joined a gym with my mate where i do weights covering all upper body muscle groups over a 3 day period and 20 mins of cardio each visit,

i aim to loose 3 stone by my holiday to majorca in july and become more muscular,
the main problem is my diet and I LOVE FOOD!!!

also i eat at all the wrong times in the day! especially at night,

also i wont eat anything thats green!

i have been given a diet to try and stick to but i feel with the sudden change from (no excercise to loads of ecercise) is a big enough step for now.

i have lost half a stone in 3 weeks and i feel alot stronger and slightly bigger,

i work for myself doing valeting so i can go to the gym whenever!

i have been having maximuscle PROMAX shakes before and after training.

typical gym workout

weights are being lifted in sets of 3 and try to work each muscle in 3 different ways with 3 different lifts or equipment

example doing hammers with

10kg aiming 10-12 reps
12kg aiming 8-10 reps
14kg aiming 6-8 reps

SHOLD I BE DOING MORE REPS WITH LESS WEIGHT???

cardo being done E.G for 20 mins

fast walk or jog for 60 secs
run for 90 secs
fast walk or jog for 60 secs
run for 90 secs
fast walk or jog for 60 secs
etc
etc
etc

SHOULD I BE DOING MORE??

any tips for my training (supliments, diet, program, etc)

thanks

DANNY

im sure others can help you with the questions you've asked, but someone gave me a little advice...and thats training should be part of your life, not that you wanna loose X ammount of weight in 6 months etc

I do agree with that BUT you have to make goals or your training for nothing really. Its like training and sticking to benching 100kg for the rest of your life, your body is gonna get used to it after a short period of time and your not gonna make any progress just stay the same

In relation to an answer the only thing you can do is stick to a clean diet have plenty of water, low carbs, high protein and tons of cardio, atleast 40mins cardio per day to achieve the goals you want. After a few months you could start taking supps to help aid shifting fat etc as after a few months your body might hit a stage where nothing wants to shift for a while but you can only wait and see

What he says but dont forget to have Healthy Fats in Your diet too. Fish Oils and Natural Peanut Butter would be a start.
