Default Starting supplements ... again

After hitting a bit of a low for a few months, I didn't bother taking any more Met-RX meal replacement

... but now I'm getting back on me feet (with the help of others ) I want to take the health and fitness seriously as it certainly gives me more confidence.

Ok ... moving on.

I've had a search through the forum and can't find a straight answer on what supplements to take, so I'm taking an overall view and thinking whey protein and creatine should be ok?

I was thinking of
http://www.affordablesupplements.co....tine.1068.html
... and
http://www.affordablesupplements.co....Whey.1113.html
... and possibly
http://www.affordablesupplements.co....+Bars.702.html (for snacks)

Not sure why Met-RX, but I've heard from a few people who claim to have tried other names and found Met-RX to their liking, apart from the price ... so taking their advice.

The flapjack is an idea for something to snack in the very few times I have at work to sit down (gives me a chance to get a drink to which is good) and take a breather.

In all my years of training mate I have tried about every single protien powder out there!! Without sounding big headed but have you seen a pic of me? I have always taken BB very seriously due to my sports.

To this day I use H&B's own brand of protien and it has never let me down, no gut ache, nausea, farting etc. Ok I use Steroids but they would not work as good as they do without a god diet and good supp's.

Stick to H&B mate, its cheap and works well!

Godzilla I`d really appreciate if you could give me some advice on my training and diet. If I tell you what I eat and my training program could you give me a few pointers? I`m getting on very well at the minute but its always good to get advice from someone who`s been at the BB longer.

godzilla - I haven't seen your pics, can't seem to find them either :S Any links to them please

H&B were the second choice I think, I keep seeing adverts of their's on the tele-box.

Would you say to get the equivalent for H&B ? (whey protein, creatine and something like the flapjacks?)

Cheers

Been trying out a protein and egg white powder (a mate had some 'sacks spare') for a month or so. I wouldnt say my size has changed (but some might disagree), but have managed to put on a tad under 2 stone in 5 months, which I'm pretty sure isn't body fat.

I've upped my daily food intake a bit to, swapping chicken at lunch for tuna, and snacking little but often on fruit during the day (when I get a chance!) and trying to take in water (I think my in-take should be 4-5litres a day).

Where's them pics Godzilla ? :P
