I've been searching for the last hour now and seem to be at a dead end. Is there a manual out there for rebuilding this hearty duratec engine?

I'm either crazy or stupid or even both, but looking at trying to rebuild an engine myself with little knowledge. I have the mates with the knowledge but I would like to try and achieve this on my own.

Any guides or suggestions on where there hiding would be appreciated.

Its a mondeo engine so maybe look there

 

Bottom end parts you cant buy through ford, they only sell a built up bottom end or complete engine. As they don't sell the parts they don't have a procedure for replacing them and the torque settings to go with them.
If you are rebuilding with aftermarket parts, then use the settings given with them.
But you will have a hard time finding an official (ford) manual on them. You could try looking at mazda manuals, as ford share the engine with them

you'll need the ford mondeo 03 to 56 reg haynes manual which i just happen to have one spare lol
