Default 17s?

Would i be able to fit some team dynamic pro race 3s onto a mk6.5 fiesta with ease? and would it still need lowering? Pics would be great if anyone has this? or any 17s on a fiestamk6.5! Cheers!

As 17" were standard in the UK for the Fiesta ST I'd say yes

I thought that, was just curious of the arches rubbing, cheers! I'd still like some pics of any 17s if anyone's got them on there?

Depends on the width and the ET of the wheels. Arches ST and non-ST were the same, so with standard ST wheel dimensions you'll have no problems.

Standard st wheels are et52.5, they look shit at that offset though.

Get something at et40-45 and you'll have a much better looking motor.

I have et37 and they don't scrub, even with a 30mm drop.

My ST had 6,5x16 ET52,5 with 195/45R16 rubber (factory standard in GER). Well... looks like a tractor.

Now it's lowered with 30 mm Eibach springs and looks much better with the 7x16 ET35 RS 7-spokes. Still standard 195 tyres, no rubbing.

I had 17" alloys on my MK6 fiesta but got bored of them after a while, they rubbed on full lock and made the car sit too high in my opinion. Got a set of white 16" cossys now, they suit the car much better. But everyone has their own opinion!

Im scared of it looking to big too, thats one thing i dont want it to do, might play it safe with 16s and just lower it more than i would?

People say handling is better with standard 16" than with the 17". Cossie wheels will be totally different because of offset, 1.5" more width and probably higher weight.

I'm happy with my wheels but sometimes when I look at the ST I think 17" would fit the arches better.

Yeah most of it is going to be about the looks really? As it's only a 1.25 at the minute I'm not looking for amazing performance? I wanna make it look tidy, and then start tubing it and putting a bigger engine in if the insurance isn't rediculious

Then I'd look for a nice set of 7x16 wheels and good 195/45R16 tyres.

I have to agree with you there, I mean 17" tyres can be awfully expensive too. My fiesta had 17s a while back and it was like a bloody tractor!

The image won't seem to upload anywhere from my phone, I'll do it when I'm next on the computer

15s or 16s are rather nice. I mean if you like the wheel nothing should really stop you, its your car at the end of the day

Jet RS are 15 and 17 only, Pro Race 1.2 are available in 7x16.

Or how about a set of OZ Ultraleggera?

Finally got to the computer.

Here's just a few shots of a standard mk6 on 17"

They're not coming up for some reason. Just right click and open in a new tab
