Default cossy wheels wont fit onto the hub????

Hi all tried to fit them today but then wouldnt even fit onto me hub i thought they would've fitted straight on. For some reason the centre on the rim is a bit small hence not fitting onto the hub.

SO anyone who has fitted these wheels onto there fezzys did they fit straight on or did you have to have em machined down or soming????

hi mate nah i double checked the hub and the wheels today no rings or anything, so i was getting pissed and started to file down the wheels from the centre. After fooking filing and filing it the hub started to fit but then i took it to a mates tyre shop around the back of our house and he had a drill with a round bit on the end that could file it down lol. I was knackerd so am gonna go back to him 1st thing in the morning before i go to the rollers to get me car setup

The only thing am worried about now is that if they fit without hitting the shocks but ill find out tommorow

I'm assuming you have Escort Cossie wheels. Best advice I can offer is to sell them on and buy some Mondeo 16's and fit them with 195/40/16 and they will pretty much go straight on. Added bonus you won't need to hack your arches and it won't bollocks up the way the car drives

Hi mate yep the escort cossy ones. Well ive managed to fit em today and am so chuffed because there no touching or rubbing apart from a minor from the drivers rear side but am gonna take that wheel of and readjust it and all should be fine. I was amazed that they bolted on easier than i thought there not even touching the shocks. Am gonna be posting some pics up soon hopefully so keep an eye out.

till then one proper cuffed owner
