Default Dodgy rumbling noise and vibrations on my mk 3 xr2i 1.8 16v

I have a problem with a vibration and rumbling noise coming from the drivers side wheel. I have had the wheel bearings replaced 3 times, lower arms & track rod ends replaced. There was a problem with getting the bolt off the hub which needed heating up to get it off. When coming to putting everything back together the nut wouldnt tighten so had to put a washer behind the nut in order for it to tighten. Like I say all was fine for a day or two. The noise and rumbling all went away, But then the noise came back twice as loud.
Im now thinking it could be the tripod housing or the tripod itself
any ideas
thanks in advance
