Too many posts.. I need a life!!
if you are putting 2.0 zetec in your mk3 fiesta you will need from a 1.8 or 1.6 the following
sump and oil pump pick pipe as fiesta exhaust wont clear 2.0 sump
obviously you will need exhaust
water pump and pulley from same as 2.0 water pump turns opposite direction
alternator mount from block to put it on the front , although your diesel one will prob fit as will a cvh one
dipstick and tube from 1.8 or 1.6
wiring from engine bay incl ecu , this could be a bit of hassle as diesel will be different from petrol so not just a straight swap over
you will need some hoses from zetec fiesta or could make some of yours fit , somehow
flywheel from 1.6 1.8 zetec or cvh efi one and drill out holes fit , its already lighter so makes a small difference , done this on mine
inlet from the 2.0 is no good for your fiesta , too big but you will need throttle body off it or simillar ,
tbh its pain in the arse , would be simpler to fit 1.8zetec as it will come with the bits you need and will go in easier
there is more and if you need any more info i'd be happy to advise

I got my 1990 van for 100, a year and a half ago. It was a 1.1, L trim.
I'll be 17 in Feb. and will have my license and will have the car for two years then. Changed the engine at the start of the summer this year.
The front wings and front panel are to be changed and rust patches to be fixed in the passenger sill, under the windscreen and under the petrol cap. The boot has been changed and the two doors are to be changed coz they are bent and it's getting a complete respray in sexy imperial blue
Anyhow, this is the run down on the engine:
'97 Mondeo 2.0 Head+Block
2.0 Throttle body with 1.8 Escort Linkage and TPS
Mondeo engine loom and and ecu
Mondeo Airflow Meter
1.8 Escort Sump, oil pump, Oil pickup, Baffle and Dipstick + tube
1.8 Escort Inlet Manifold with 2.0 brown injectors
Modified 1.1 engine mount
1.8 Escort Flywheel and Clutch
1.8 Escort Exhaust manifold + Downpipe with standard xr2i exhaust system and de-cat
1.8 Escort water pump
1.6 Fiesta Si Radiator with random hoses to hook it up
I got the Mondeo Ghia at the end of a demolition derby. The fusebox got smashed and it cut out. I got a friend to bring it home on a transporter as all the cars were being scrapped anyway.
I put a new fuse in the next day and it started straight up and I got a half tank of petrol and a set of alloys as well.
That means I got a 2 litre engine for the fiesta, a set of alloys and a day driving in the forest all for free!!!
