Boost Problem

Going to see a fiesta rs turbo next week but has a boost problem wont boost the guy had said

Theres no smoke so cant see there anything been wrong with the turbo?

What other problems should i look for?

Hard to say of that description really! Need more info.

Is it holding boost? or not producing any positive boost? Is a working boost gauge installed?

I had a problem with mine when i got it and it was the fuel pump... basically there wasnt enough fuel getting to it when it tried to boost up!

my mates s2 wasnt boosting at all he other day so i had a quick look underneath and it turned out to be the actuator arm had slipped off the turbo doh
could be worth checking that

My old t2 turbo stop spining and had jammed inself there was no smoke. I would take of the air filter and stick my hand in there to see if it spin's freely not will the car running
