No they're not! They've come with a different height. Orion EFI should be a little bit higher than FRST head, so you'll get lower compression which is better for higher boost But make sure ignition and cam timing is set to the right parameters!

EFI heads came with the injector cut outs on the inlet valves, MFI heads didn't have these!

the esc head that was on my car had been modified. They build up round the inlet ports with weld then machined out the holes for the injectors. Wasn't done very well tho, the gasket had very little surface area to seal onto. And to me werent cut out enough!

This is the problem with buying an already "modified" car. You just dont know what it actually is

The question that was originally asked here is: Is an Orion 89/90 spec normally aspirated EFI head the same as FRST EFI head. The answer is YES

Sorry mate but your wrong The lower compression on the turbos is achieved with different pistons

Sorry mate but I'm right... Head height is different EFI <-> Turbo. Just Turbo and RSi came with the same height!

But it's right that lower compression on turbos came from lower pistons, I didn't ever say something else!

Have you looked on Ford Microcat, there is one EFI head part number for both normally aspirated and turbo. Who mentioned an RSi??? Thats MFI mate not EFI.
