hi all, trying to remove mk6 escort steering wheel, ive got the front of the wheel off, undone main bolt and three smaller screws, but its still not coming off! am i missing something here? my number is 07811430278 if anyone can help me.

you dont need to remove the 3 smaller screws as they hold the airbag/horn contact cassette on the rear, just unplug the yellow airbag plug near the ignition barrel then you need to insert ignition key and turn one click then wiggle the wheel and it will come off easy as one complete unit

 

figured it out yesterday! doh! what a pain in the arse, all to get the dash off lol.
