rs2000 4x4 - Is it poss to use ecos running gear?
Building a rs2000 4x4 into a 2.0 zt running around 300-350hp which is likely to kill the whole 4x4 system especially the trans box..
Can I use the 4x4 gear from the escort cos?

You could, but you'd have to totally refabricate the whole floor pan and mount the engine the other way, so there isn't really much point.
I have heard mention of using Evo running gear, but I don't think anyone has ever done it.
There have been a couple of turbo 4x4 RS2000s, one was over 300bhp. Worth jumping on www.rs2000-16v.com and asking for info, but using the standard running gear is still a potential time bomb.
