I have recently had a problem with my 16i, i have replaced the leads, coils, but it still miss fires every so often, normally in traffic whe idleing and you go to pull away or around the 2700 rpm mark, it cuts out and then will not restart just keeps popping and not starting any ideas
??

 

Have you tried changing the ECU and/or gearbox sensor lead?

if you havent any spares try ebay

 

Or a problem with the flywheel. Is also common on the RSi's
