A - Does it have to be a certain type of car shampoo?
B - Can the snow foam attatchments fot any power washers?
As the only ones ive seen are for karcher and I dont have a karcher.

As leadfoot says. I got one from cleanyourcar and it foams up nice! Not too sure it really helps much, but looks impressive!

whats the advantage to this over using a bucket? surely this misses things that you could get off, or do you sponge it aswell?

 

You put the snow foam on, leave for 5-10 mins then rinse off before washing as normal. Its supposed to lift the dirt off the paint so it doesn't cause as much swirl marks etc to the paint when you wash by hand.

Just a gimmick IMO as it isn't that effective although I have only tried one brand of foam. Will try another when I've used what i've got and see if there's a difference!

I have a foam lance and it's brilliant as a pre wash. I use Super Snow Foam http://shop.autobritedirect.co.uk/su...izes-346-p.asp and find it superb

 

What pressure washer to use ?

 

megs hyper wash is a great trade off product between foam and actually lifting dirt but these work so so much better with a hot pressure washer as opossed to a cold unit.
