I've just bought one of these:

I'm a newbie when it comes to DA polishers, and was wondering what the best pads to get were on a budget if poss. I need a cutting one, a polishing one and a buffing one i guess.

Any ideas what sizes I need?

Also in the way of products can any recommend what i would need for Panther Black paint on my 170. It has swirl marks which can be seen in the sunlight

i.e Cutting compound, Polish, Wax etc

Would products like Mequirers scratch x, an autoglym polish, and mequirers gold glass wax be ok?

mate get on Detailing world and go through the guides,very helpful.go for the intermediate kit.the three product you mentioned above would be ideal mate but i still would strongly recommend that u go thru dw guides HTH

 

Thanks for that mate...yeah got the guides printed off, but when it comes to products its a whole new world!! i got those 3 in the garage so they will prob be where I start
