oh bugger had a right mare of a time with my pc ...

ok .. win xp pro service pack 2

gets to xp start up screen then goes blank ...
can start it in safe mode ..
taken me ages to get it working ..
reinstalled service pack 2 and have got back in ..

need a good bit of software to scan the registery etc etc .. got norton but i think its missing summit ..

any ideas ???

didnt do anything .. it just started to play up one day ... and yesterday ...just said nope not playing anymore...

Check it for spyware just to be on the safe side m8, download the microsoft antispyware app from www.microsoft.com and also download ad aware se and spybot

im a little sceptical about the microsoft one ... the g/f has it and every time i run it then run ad-aware it finds another 5-6 that the microsoft one has missed ....

have run ad-aware and spybot .. nothing on either ...

ok .. got another problem ..

different pc this time ..

got an acess error

www.rabbitrehome.org.uk

can get in ok .. but .. if i try to acess the forums page it wont go there ..

www.forums.rabbitrehome.org.uk

i can ping it ok from here .. its just my woman is a bit stressed now ..

i can acess it on my home pc .. but not this one ..
have turned off windows firewall and norton firewall ...

cleared internet history ... cleared all cookies ... turned off norton firewall .. made sure windows firewall was off ... she has not been banned ... it works on my pc .. just not lisa's ....
