Ive got a torch app which comes in very handy.

Ive also got a app call audio manager.When you go into it it looks like an easy way to adjust the sound on your phone.If you hold onto the audio manager writing at the top it it takes you to a password screen.Put your password in then it takes you to where you can hide data like pictures and videos.Ideal for hiding the pics of your naked wife and porn.

 

Ive also got one called Aviary which is an app for pictures.Its lets you play about with pics.

 

BBC news,BBC sport and or SKY news,SKY sports.

 

you will also want the flashlight app so you can use the fone as a torch.
go to the play store and see the top free apps and have a play around.

The build quality on apple was bad? So you bought a samsung? I always thought the apple stuff was really good quallity, theres not many phones that have zero plastic on them.

If I said I wasnt a fan of my Samsung that would be being polite, its fiddly, worse quality imo, very glitchy, and android is just plain anoying.

 

Could not agree more Adam coming from a Iphone 5 to a S4 also. its buggy it crashes, it feels quite cheap. all of the keyboards annoy me. i certainly will be going back to being an iphone fan boy when i can. i said i wanted an open phone where i can do what i want. What i really want is an iPhone as its far superior in all aspects, build quality, user friendliness, and has a far better ergonomic design

 

A plastic phone with a flimsy battery cover is better build quality than an aluminium phone? Are you serious

 

I do think the iphone 5 wasnt aswell built as say the iPhone4, cant compare the s4 as hadnt it long enough

 

The S4 is the best so there.

 

Much like a computer if its crashing its most probably user error, and if you leave apps running in back ground it is going to be glitchy, and the build quality of the iphone 5 isnt the best, my bumper and back started to loose there coating after 2 weeks the screen cracked from no more than a 30cm drop, I moved to android and I support open source all the way! Now my s4 I have owned nearly aslong as my 5 and yeah it has gained a few scratches on the back which I can replace! But appart from that iv had no issues with build quality the screen is superb very resilient!
They should release a dumbed down version of android for the apple boys

 

Ill agree the screen is nicer, but another thing that bugs the shit out of me is
you see a youtube video on the net so you click on it
You then get 2 or 3 options on what apps you want to play the video on...... A mean who gives a shit, I just wana watch the video

Plus, and typing this msg has been a rite ball ache

and my IPhone never crashed with apps running in the back ground

and the battery doesnt seem to last as long

the copy and pasting off text is fiddly

and on Apple if you see a phone number on the net you can just touch it and hit dial, no such luck on the S4

Im in no way a "Apple fan boy" i just like stuff to work and be quick to use.

and dont even get me started on the sat nav, why the fuck do i need options if i want to walk or drive 300 fucking miles, plus its just a rite ball ache anyway.

and why cant i take a photo or use the torch if the batterys low?!

The charging leads a rite ball ache compared to the lightning conector

Ooh and it send my mam 3000 of the same emails and cost us both Ł30+ on our phone bills

if you try and click fast between the apps it just does anything it wants

like i say im not a Apple fan boy i just like things to work like most other people hence why apple proberly sell alot more iphones than Shitdungs

one thing that Android can do that iOS cant (unless you faff around with jailbreaking) is to install xbmc, probably the best app ever ! pretty much any movie or tv show you want, it has it. Fancy watching footie on the go? No probs, you can watch it (dependant on your dataplan of course) pi$$ easy to install and my most used app !

 

What xbmc do you download from the play store? I have typed in XBMC but its found loads mainly XBMC remote?

Im pritty sure iphone are assembled by foxcon made with korean componenets most likly in the korean factor, also my S4 was made and assembled in china not that that makes any difference also xbmc it available on ios when jailbroken altho it is very glitchy and slow on my ipad 4 on the s4 its superb

True! An iphone's display and memory chips are made by Samsung, The internet says 26% of the contents inside an iphone is made by them.

 

I think that an iphone is great, it will do things that you ask of it, however it will do them in a way that apple tell you it will do them.

I prefer to actually be able to use a device and tell it what I want to do and how I want it done. Also, Apple devices won't connect to my Bluetooth handsfree, it won't Bluetooth music to my home stereo, the alarm clock does not go off with the phone either switched off or on silent (I presume it still doesn't), the battery on them lasts about 4 and a half minutes from a full charge, so instead of calling it a mobile, you may as well call it a landline with the amount of time it spends plugged in to the wall.

Not to mention the fucking retards in an apple store. My wife's iphone played up recently, the apple twats in the 'genius bar' () point blank refused to help unless I had an appointment even though they were all sat around spaffing off into the latest handset.

Apple are hands down, world beaters at marketing. Nobody can touch them when it comes to luring the punters in. An iphone is great to get out in front of your mates down the pub, but shit when it comes to actually being a phone.

It's a bit like the Ford / Vauxhall debate really, there's no right and wrong, just different strokes for different folks.

 

Can you get the Simpsons tapped out app on the S4? Or android for that matter? Or is this iPhone only?
