laptop help
my wife has spilt a can of coke over her laptop.
now when its turned on,the gateway screen comes on,with 3/4 of the load bar.
then it turns its self off and tries again.
any ideas whats wrong?
i have tried a new hard drive,and it will not reboot from a disc.

Coke is very corrosive, it eats through the copper tracks very quickly. The only chance of saving it is to completely disassemble it and wash all the circuit boards with isopropyl alcohol, but it may be too late for that. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
