Had a go tonight for the 1st time.

Was me, Andy R, brad + tommy. we were proper shite lol Got to stage 7 twice n that was it!

Think we should have left downstairs alone and just waited for them at the top of the stairs!

Played it split screen wth my little sis last night. Couldnt get past 4

Whats are the best tatics. We were staying in the first room and bought some okish weapons off the wall. Is its better to go upstairs , open the other 'help' room up?

I figured the more rooms that are open the more places zombies can get in.

 

I would say when level 5 comes fuck off downstairs and wait for them just to come up the stairs and blow them away!

The best gun i found was the twin shotgun.. One shot........One kill

 

was playing this co op with 3 mates last night proper fucking funny. i think we crashed and burned at about level 8 lol

i only played it twice and lagged out both times
people were getting past 30 rounds before full game was released, dunno what record is now

 

so i've got cod5 and so have my mates, how do we play this game?

can you play it over the net or do they have to come round my house?

 

I think you've gotta complete the single player mode first mate. Then you can unlock Zombie mode. One of the chaps will confirm tho

 

Yea you have to complete single player to unlock it. Once you have done that you can play split screen on one machine or invite upto three friends to play with you. Your friends dont have to have completed it though, just the person starting game.

 

thats correct mate you have to have complete the single palyer game 1st or get a invite off some one who has completed it

 

On my PC you dont have to complete anything :P!
Best tactics I found, Stay in the first room till about level 6, then move into the next room but try to keep bording the windows up till it getting abit full on, but all the time be trying the magic box for the ray gun, once you get to like level 12 and you have the raygun move upstairs right at the back were there is only one window and you can concentrate on shooting all the zombies running at you.

shotguns good untill it gets hectic then takes too long to reload , tomy's ray gun on the other hand takes the fookin piss !! if there was 4 of you in there with ray guns you could go on forever .

 

You cant mate, you hit the issue of running out of ammo and then it goes very bad

i find that once i get past level 3 or 4 the fuckers become harder to kill and take twice as many shots to down them ! even takes me 2 or 3 headshots ??

it's great fun, how do you get up the stairs guys?

There are things blocking the way even in that "hell" room, I agree double barrell is fun but takes forever to reload

Got upto level 7 last night, do yuo have to go outside or something? where is this ray gun?

 

Well i've just finished the solo game (End credits are rolling now so hopefully will get the zombie key) Took me 3 days @ 4 hrs each day.. was very easy compared to COD4 game... only about 40 missons where COD4 had at least over 60.. Dar well...

Got to level 9 with just me and my sis last night. Then got to 16 i think it was, with three randoms online who were a bit shit. Ended up being the last person alive for a couple of rounds. Got overwhelmed in the end cause we wernt very organised.

I reckon the best tatics are to let the zombies come in before you kill them on the first two rounds. That way you get more points for killing them inside and get to rebuild the barriers again giving you more points. I also just use the knife at this point to save ammo.

Then for round three and four use your hand gun and knife to take them out as soon as you can.

Now everyone should have quite a few points, so open up the back room and you should be able to have a few goes on the box to get some decent weapons.

Then up to round ten have two in the main room and two in the backroom. Keep playing the box to try and get the best weapons. Shotguns are good upto about round ten then are useless because of reload speed. I like the raygun and browning heavy machine gun.

After round ten i reckon fall back into the back room, have one covering the door , two covering the insde of the room and the last person is there to help when someone gets in trouble or needs to reload.

Whatever happned dont open the stairs up in the backroom. But i reckon maybe opening the ones up in the mainroom before you fall back to the back room might be a good idea. It will give the zombies more choices of entry so might slow them down a bit. havent tried it though.

Does anyone know if you can buy ammo? I couldnt find anywhere and it would be handy so you can keep your two choice weapons rather than having to swap them when they run out of ammo.

 

When you get the gun out of the box i don't think u can buy ammo for the weapon. Only if you get a glowing orb bonus which maxs out your ammo! if you get it off the wall then u can buy ammo..

Played again this morning with Tommy + Brad again and got to level 10. I died 3 times i was shocking!

 

I,ve got to level 16. Trouble is i think COD5 multiplayer lets it down so fookin hit and miss how you kill someone. I was hooked on COD4 and had big hope for 5 but i dunno i just cannot seem to kill any cunt on it. Dissapointed and think of foookin the game of if im tbh.
