Default Help, I'm confused - network problem!

Right,

2x computers (main PC (upstairs - wired), media PC (downstairs - wired) and laptop (wireless)

NAS server with integral 3x wired router and wireless access point.

All computers connected to Server, can get on it and use/copy/delete files

Yesterday I had no problem accessing the shared folders from one PC on another PC (eg, I could access My Documents or Shared folder on my main PC on my Media PC, or put something in the shared folder on my Main PC and access it from my Laptop)

Reinstalled the OS again on my laptop today (I was messing around with the registry again ) so just setting it up on the network again....

But for some reason I can't access my Main PC. I can see it on the network but I get an error message saying it can't access it, contact admin to allow access and says the network path was not found. It also does the same thing if I try and access my laptop from my main PC, says network path was not found but I can see "the computer" in MY NETWORK PLACES > WORKGROUP COMPUTERS. Sharing is turned on for all computers, so why can't I access anything?

When I did the OS last week on the lappy, I did all the same thing and had no problem accessing my main PC shared folders from the lappy as I was downloading stuff on my main PC, then accessing the files from the lappy in order to installed the drivers, software etc....

Whats stopping me from doing it this time?

Hmm.... After my main PC refused to let me even see my workgroup computers anymore, I rebooted and now I can access shared folders on the laptop from my main PC - but not vice versa! No matter how many times I reboot the laptop I can't access the shared folders on my Main PC from the laptop.....

I don't get this! Never had a problem with this last week, why has it gone all gay today?

Update again...

Right;

main PC can see an access both laptop and media PC

Media PC can see main PC and laptop, but only access laptop - CAN'T ACCESS MAIN PC

Laptop can see main PC and media PC, but can only access media PC - CAN'T ACCESS MAIN PC

More varients....

My Network places (on all computers) show file folders, like this;

That is Network places on main PC - can see everything...

On the media PC and laptop, the main PC does NOT show up in this view...

But on media PC and laptop, the main PC DOES show up in this view, which is VIEW WORKGROUP COMPUTERS;

In that view, all computers can see all computers. From the main PC, I can double click on any of those network computers and access them. But from both the media PC and the laptop I can't access the main PC - thats when I get the error message;

\\Laptop is not accessible. you may not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission.

The network path was not found.
WTF? This is beginning to really piss me off! I need to be able to access my main PC from the laptop in order to put the programme exe files onto the laptop so I can execute them, as from a CD when I try and copy some of them to the dektop (mainly the IE7 and WMP11 exe's, but sometimes it's other ones like VLC or Zoomplayer aswell) I get the cyclic redundancy error message and the exe file won't copy

I rebooted everyting (multiple times) ran the network wizards on everything (several times) and even done a system restore on the main PC back to last Wed when I know it was working fine, and still the problem remains!

Black line with arrow = can access from computer to computer
Red line with cross = can't access from computer to computer

I DO NOT FUCKING UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS!

/frustrated!
