phone calls using pc

can i make phone calls using my net connection and a usb headset from my pc?

yes you can, using a program called skype

The other person needs skype aswell though, dont be thinking you can call anywhere for free because you cant!

yeah if you want it free then the other person has to have it too, otherwise you have to pay a rate per min

its pretty cool if you have friends that use skype, as you can get wifi headsets so its just like using a normal phone, infact i'm sure most of the new mobiles are including skype as a feature now anyway.
