is it possible to run 2 lot's of msn messenger at once ?

i googled it and all it comes up with is a load of crap sites

i want to have mine and the misses account logged in at the same time

iirc u could do that with messenger version 8
i saw a pic of it with 3 accounts running at the same time

Pretty sure you haven't been able to do it with any versions. You can log in via the web and have one lot of MSN running.

Why not just add the contacts to one account?

Google something called "messenger plus", this is an add on for windows live and it allows you to sign into different accounts at the same time
Not only does it do that but loads of other cool things you cant normally do on msn

Right click "view image" if its too small

Both Gaim and Trillian not only let you easily log into multiple MSN accounts, but they also do IRC & ICQ, aswell......in fact, Gaim does a lot more, including a few IM-protocols I've not even heard of!
