Default Wireless Techies

I've not really done much with wireless before now, but I have a requirement for it now. I have a BT Wireless Router to use, and a Sony Vaio PCG-FR415B laptop. The laptop currently doesn't have any means of wireless connectivity. What sort of card do you recommend I should get for it and will I need anything else?

Thanks

Hello m8, all you need is a wireless network card. You can get a pcmcia one, or a USB one. All you do, is plug your internet connection into the router, then an ethernet cable from the router into the pc. Create the wireless network, then get the laptop to connect to it. All in all, 10 min job

Can I not just use the Wireless router as the access point ? I don't have a spare pc to use (at the moment)

Yeah, you can use it as an access point, then just confgure the wireless adapter to run in ad-hoc mode rather then infastructure
