sierra GT24v in gulf clrs, £3500. needs work, been stood
full details now included of mechanicals, interior and exterior, further down this thread.
**** After many ups +downs on here and on retro rides this car is now priced to clear at £3,500 so as someone with enough genuine intrest could afford to takre it and then give it the light resto it needs and possibly put there own twist to put it to its true potential *****
************************************************** **************
2.9 24v cosworth conversion, prepared but never finished by Top Boss Performance Tuning and PSG Bodystyling
Built to be a srtreet legal semi/ full racecar for Street Eliminator drivers championship series.
Many spares, extensive history files, owned last 15yrs.
Totaly custom finish with Combat bodykit and finished in Gulf Oil colours
Available to buy now is my late model 4dr hatch, converted twice from road car, to show car, and then to current spec.
I took on the smokestone blue GT in '99, and have masses of files, paperwork, receipts, mag features etc.
The car was converted by TBPT a few years back, along with many design ideas I had dreamed up, with every intension of running a few sponsered seasons in S.E at Santa Pod and Avon Park.
Due to difficulties at the time, the plan failed and she's now been sat undercover for over 4yrs, and is in need of a good spring clean, tlc and a bit of investigation as to actual spec, from someone who is serious about using this ccar to its full potential for either drag, drift, trackdays of B-road fun
Car is now in manchester and is available for viewing now in order to restore, and may be taken on your own slave-wheels, (min 16"F, 15"R)
And will have leather dash removed
Taking into acount condition, existing modifications, history and amount spent, I'm asking for a fraction of what I'd like to,
So a fair reasonable asking price is set at 8,500
Please email for further spec, details and pics
Cheers, Rob Jackson

Its taken many hrs of head scratching. But this should be a link to view my new photobucket album. 'Robjackson2'
http://s1278.photobucket.com/albums/y515/robjackson2/?
This is some various views at my old house and a handfull off a pro shoot for fast ford mag, and the ad for total car audio showing install from when she was a showcar.
Please let me know if this link works,
Or if anyones got the skills to rip the pics from the album and make them show up here instead then please do let me know

Your add dont really tell anyone what they are getting for £8.5K !
As it looks to me, a 5 door hatch, with a cage, bucket seats and a 24v lump, along with some stickers and a body kit.
equaling a £2K sierra tops,
but then " prepared but never finished by Top Boss Performance Tuning " so knock another £250 off

Shit me £8500!
My p100 has a 24v in it, refurbished xr4x4 box with doner sapphire 4x4cos running gear thats all been powder coated, refurbished diffs, new cam chain, new clutch and tires, MINT cos interior and dash, heated windscreen, electric mirrors windows and what not and i reckon i would struggle to get £3000 for it :/
Sierra GTs are a rare bit of kit but i hate to say times have changed, its not 2002 anymore and i think that car would be worth more if it were totally standard, the body kit and 'move over' written on the front spoil it a little for me.
hate to be a cunt as the car looks like its had a lot of hours put into it and may well be mint!

Cheers for the input fellas.
Iv been away from the ford scene for quite a while,
Its all superslammed wide vw's for me now
I thought I'd priced this to reflect the amount of work its had over the many years.
What iv noyt done is explained the work here.
A lot of it is unclear as its no secret that me and TBPT parted company on bad terms so some of the vital stats are unclear to me, but a lot of answers lie with Fitz at TBPT.
What I'll do now is try to put a list tgether of what's on it as it stands, and maybe a bit of history.
(Paperworks all stashed away so its from memory)
Cheers

That name Fitz don't go down too well on this site.
so im sorry to say unless its running 300+ in N/A form and is all correct
it really still is'nt worth the asking price.
For that money you could build you own spec one with turbo's etc.
Sorry this is just my opinion and for 8.5k i'd buy a cossie anyday and it would be a well specced one for that.

After dealing with him for around 8yrs and came away with burnt fingers ii still wouldn't like to elaborate on any forums the ins+outs of our business.
Not that there's any secrets or great mysteries.
But once I get into any serious talks with a prospective new owner of the car then I'll be sure to give that person a thoroug accountof the past dealings and all the cars god+bad points.
Iv nothing to hide, the car is genuine, bt it has got his name linked to it.
Cheers

Sadly with projects like this, and the fact its a bit of an acquired taste I think your best bet at achieving anywhere near £7k is sadly to break it up into bits as then your appealing to the whole ford/kit at scene etc.
Just IMO and good luck with whatever you do.

Price aside, If anyone knows of an interested party then do get in touch and there's always room for movement on a deal.
Thanks for the input guys, just hope its not put anyone off more than I have already,
Even without the sentiment atatched to my old Gulfstream, there is a good combination of parts there, and in the right hands could be a great tool to frighten passengers, wether its now, ten years ago, or in another ten yrs.
There's a lot of car here fellas,
But don't get me wrong, I do know where you guys are coming from,
Cheers

And just to let you know in the title it says "GUF stream" not "GULF stream".
Just spotted it earlier!!!!
I'm sure someone will buy it but for anything heavily modified it can be hard to find the right person.

So........ Is it twin supercharged??? In your spec it says twin BMW superchargers? If so then some pics from under the bonnet may help a little more with the sale.

Sadly this seems to be the case nick.
Iv seen other threads over time that all have a similar stigma.
There's no way someone from there hasn't read this,
Sad. Shame that this car carries the burdon of that place.
However, dhe should rise again to do battle,
She has massive potential but just needs to find the right new owne
Price aside,
Any intrest do get intouch and we can discuss a deal
