cheap Focus RS (reshelled)
mk1 Focus RS built from bits, its on a 2 litre zetec logbook, the car was built up from a brand new normal 3 door shell (have invoice for shell) it has got the RS quarter panel & wings and everything else an RS should have, to look at you can't tell its not a genuine one.
spec is, full RS bodywork bumpers etc, RS trim & clocks, RS alarm, full RS running gear (clocks show around 50k) RS brakes, decatted, rolled out tailpipe, tubular manifold, forge actuator, airtec front mount cooler, graphs for 290bhp, carbon fibre bonnet, aftermarket black rear lights, tinted windows & antricite wheels.
when it got to me it had no power, a couple of fixes & adjustments gave it some power but also a bad missfire, i replaced the coilpack, leads & plugs which cured the issue but now it has some power the clutch has started to slip when driven hard, i can't be bothered with it at the moment so its time to rehome it, it has some tax but the mot has just run out, condition wise the trim is good, it has the proper RS floor mats, body is not bad, it has a few marks & couple of car park dings, it drives fine but is due a clutch, price is £5500, don't really want p/x either, i think thats a fair price, at worse it would make good money as a breaker, or make an ideal track car.

focus rs 1672
think clutch is nearer 400,then you have the slave cylinder, then labour on top unless you fit it yourself, while your there youd be aswell doing the gear oil.so your looking closer to 800 all in.looks a nice car all the same

that is a bloomin' bargain, Nice one Matt.
on my old one, the AP clutch cost £375 with everything, bought myself some gear oil and then paid a good mate £100 to change it as a PJ one sunday at his work.
so no more than a £500 job.
obviously dependant on the labour costs, but everyone knows someone who can do a nice PJ like this.
Fair price Matt, cant imagine it will hang around long.
want to sell the Bonnet seperatley?

Like you say would make a good track car, i'm guessing you're a mechanic so if the clutch is easy to do might sell even easier if you just did it and put £500 on the price

Stickertone, dependant on where the car ends up going to when sold, then my mate would probably take on the job again.
easy enough to do (within reason) and a nice earner just before christmas.
and he has the ramp, tools etc, ford mechanic for 15+ years.

thanks Lee.
had lots of intrest in the car, who ever gets round with the money first can have it!
i wasn't planning on putting an mot on it but if someone wants to pay the asking price then i will, or will take a small offer if you want to sort an mot yourself.
i was away the weekend so didn't get any more pictures, the earliest i could get some now is Sunday, although i'm sure if anyone came to view it they wouldn't be dissapointed.
