when we pumped out some petrol at the fuel rail it didnt exactly come out with some ooompf, it was kinda like turning on a tap, we thought it would be under more pressure than that.
Yeah, not bothered too much about it, it is just one of those things, probably would have been pissed off if the guy i had bought it off had said "not my problem" but Matt isnt like that and is helping out as much as he can, fair play to the guy eh. Just itching to get it home and get the clutch in it so i can go play!!!

yeah it should come out with a bit of force, but thats not foolproof, if no fuel pressure testing gear is available then a voltage check at the pump whilst priming and cranking can confirm or debunk diagnosis, any way, cracking motor.

it is Paul, Cutch bought it Friday night (he was the first in a line of people who wanted it) things were looking cool, Cutch is a one of the nicest guys, we talked over the phone, agreed a deal, he flew to Luton airport where i picked him up, he went over te car, was more than happy with it, left may house about 10:30pm, 2am he called to say he has problems (said he was very sorry to call but didn't know to do) we went through a few things, i set up in bed & called him bask 20 mins later, Cutch had arranged AA, he ended back at PS's love guru (Beefy) the car is with Beef & the boys at the moment, between us it will be sorted this week

Sorry it broke but tbh what a decent guy you bought it off trying to help in anyway he can.
Remember folks,this is the joy of buying off a forum of like minded people rather than some of the vermin that exist on the likes of eBay and pistonheads,of course not all can be tarred with the same brush,but I have to say if your a twat on a forum and sell a dog,only once you'll get away with it.
Hope it gets sorted and if anyone ever has problems and their stuck near Swansea give me a bell as I know a very fair guy for recovery if I can't help myself.

Yeah matts been a fkn star! Hey its just one of those things, matts already sent two pumps up to beefy, and beefy is taking it to a local garage he knows where they will investigate further, was thinking about getting the clutch done while it was in there, that way I could really play on the way home from beefy's on sat!!! Haha. Can't thank the boys enough for all the help. I also sent an email to BP registering the fact that I might be claiming for contaminated fuel, hope it is that and I can send matt the extra pumps back and claim all my money back from BP.....that might be quite hard to do but I wil give it a go..

this is my old motor still being sold around i see! also it has piper cams in it and vernier pulleys, uprated induction hose, fmic and running at 21psi.
it was running about 290bhp when i had it, the cams, fmic, manifold are all ayear old on it.
and it was built by m-sport, should have a plaque on the centre consol think it was build number 34.
this was all about 10 months ago though...good luck with it
