My 1990 XR2i RS Turbo replica. 4 owners, 48k form new.
Just drumming up some interest.
Basically I "sold" this car to my brother about 4 years ago, but no money ever changed hands and it's just sat in my Barn doing nothing. Now he's decided (after taking it half to bits ) he'd rather spend the money on his Golf and has given it me back so it's got to go.
basic spec;
1990 XR2i
I'm the 4th keeper form new, my older brother the 3rd keeper, the 2nd keeper was one of my dad best mates and the first owner was a local Ford Employee.
The car has gone a genuine 48,000 miles form new. The 2nd keeper was a farmer and his wife used it as a shopping car hence the low milage.
Its got RS Turbo bonnet, spoiler, green stripes, opening rear 1/4 windows and steering wheel.
Escort Cosworth front brake conversion
Diamond cut RS2000 wheels with brand new 195/45/15 Toyo Proxy tyres.
It's got a Mk5 fiesta dash conversion and front and rear mk5 doorcards with all the wiring that need needs refitting
I've done all the welding that it needed. The fuel filler area is good with only one little mark in the paint, but this has not spread or got worse in the 6-7 years we have had the car.
I know it's got a few little dings, bonnet had a dent in the front, also someone reversed into the Passenger door and drove off and scuffed it but I have a Mercury Grey RST de locked door to go with it.
It will be going on eBay this weekend. For the right price I could possibly finish it off, get the interior back in etc. Offers around £800
This is what it looked like when I owned it. I will get some updated pics shortly.

It's not taxed or MOT'd but it was stood years and fired up first time. It shouldn't take much work to get it complete again. I will have a word with my brother tonight and take some new pictures Monday of it.
As said for the right price I could MOT it and finish it I would have thought. From what I can gather needs;
*wing mirror painting and fitting
* carpet, seats and interior trim fitted
* dash bolted in and wired up
* passenger door fitted
* one rear arch sticking back on from where I welded the end of the sill.
Just before I "sold" it I spent nearly £500 on it. New Toyo tires, both bottom arms genuine ford, both front wheel bearings, new pads, skimmed discs, new CV boots both sides, new ARB drop links.
God talking about it really makes me want to keep it.
