Dirt cheap Fiesta 1.8D - 1997 R reg - *PICS ADDED*
1997 R reg 1.8 diesel Fiesta 3 door in white (same shape as that Mazda 323 that looked like a fiesta with the wide headlights)
Test for 9/10 months, tax untill end of Jan
Bargain runabout, decent tyres on alloy wheels, brakes changed all round before last MOT. Cambelt change by previous owner.
Not sure on the mileage, but its over 100k. Starts in all weather and drives as you would expect for a car of this nature. Windy windows, no power steering, radio works (just
) and the clutch is a good one along with a good gearbox with no crunches or crashing thru the gears.
Engine is in good condition and starts in all weathers after turning over a few times, Doesn't burn litres of oil, but does puff a bit of blue on startup - Nothing to worry about and the car does 50 miles a day at the moment.
Bodywork isn't brilliant but it is not rotten (a few dents here and there). Sills are perfect with no previous welding, inner wings are excellent as is the battery tray and rear chassis members rear arches are good with a little bit of bubbleing but nothing excessive.
. The key will not unlock the drivers door (needs a new barrel I think) but other than that no major issues.
bargain basement price of £200 ono - It's my brothers car and he has bought a new motor.

Also forgot to mention - it has a brand new Maura Battery that cost £65 and has a 3 year warranty aswell
