Default Puma getting it's claws back

Had some dark days over the last 3 months but there's a bit of light at the end of the tunnel now. The engine, box, front diff and front brakes went back in on Friday so it was a big day. Got to sort all the pipework now and buy some more of the bits i sold. I've put a pic of the front and rear brakes up also.

It has some great bits and could use more power but the cash has long gone,so i'm aiming for just over 400 brake and 1000kg's in weight. It has a good box and big diffs so should put the power straight down. Will try to get some more pics up.

Here's a pic of what's under the back.Has a cradle for the 9 inch diff, all galvanised up now and the other suspension bits are all repainted. There's some other pics in the cars for sale section, about page 7 or 8,from when i started to break it.

You're doing yourself an injustice there,it's looking great.I can't wait until mine is one colour and has some new lexan in the door windows.Still a good way off driving again.

Alot of work has gone into that!

Would love to do something like that to mine. What shell is it in standard or a racing puma?

Imtec converted them from new. They were based in Cornwall but the company no longer exists. As the company were passed for low volume builds it goes on a proper reg plate aswell.Custom cages in Daventry did the T45 cage.It has fibreglass bonnet and front wings and racing Puma steel rear quarters. The tailgate has a MS spoiler like yours Mark but the tailgate and glass is quite heavy.Doors are metal but have been lightened and now dont have the impact bars.Probably going to run with 17 inch OZ mags unless i can get a single 18 inch Cromodora WRC type wheel to make the set up.

Had the suspension geometry set up the other day.Handles nicely but could really do with some shorter springs.Needs remapping and a back end paint job.I've also got some different side screens to go in as the present ones are all scuffed.

OK, bit of an update. The plastics 4 performance side windows are now fitted into the doors and you can actually see things as you are driving along.Rear paintwork is now done so it's all zinc yellow.I'm still working on the spoiler but should be fitted next weekend.Wheels are going away for paint this week,so after that it's get some shorter springs and see where i can get the engine mapped.Or fit an Audi RS4 engine and running gear into it.No wonder the wife thinks i'm crackers.

17 inch OZ mags have been done in Satin black, same as the rear spoiler and are now fitted along with 4 brand spanking new P Zero Corsas.New Pipercross air filter is also on as i could'nt shut the bonnet with the group "a" K+N. The car is going for an MOT on Wed and will have some shorter springs fitted to lower it down a bit. Then i will have to wait to get a live map done as it's still running with the restrictor in.Going for a meal soon so will post the full spec tommorow. Here's some pics taken today.

There's a couple doing rallycross,Kevin Proctor and Mike Manning, both with big power and this is the way they seem to run them.Sure does stick to the road though.I've lowered it since those pics were taken but now i've gone too short on the springs. Will have to wait till i get some cash to get the geometry done again.
