Nothing wrong with the other T38 at all, Harvey and Glynn use them on loads of stuff with good results.
The TT T38 is known to be a bit of a laggy unit but I think it was YUM that got close to 470hp using one.

I don't find mine laggy at all
Might be due to a good cam and set up correctly

Given that its going to have the same shaft either way, how on earth did you jump to the conclusion that one is stronger than the other?

As chip says its the same turbo but the tt 38 has a larger compressor wheel..
The tt38 doesnt respond well to a pair of heavy cams and ime works very well on a nearer std cr with just a good inlet cam and lots of boost hence why cossie4i works so well..
cheers danny

My Harvey T38 worked well - it was crying out for a better inlet cam but the highest it made on both std cams was 441bhp
