Angry Bleeding the brakes on saff?UPDATE!!bleed nipple is completley rounded off HELP!!??

hello guys and girls,

wondering if any of you have any idea how to remove a shagged bleed nipple as mine has rounded off and i cant get the thing out for love nor money,,,
P.S it was already fucked before i touched it

any suggestions welcome otherwise it looks like ill be purchasing a new caliper!!!

wouldnt put too much heat near a caliper full of brake fluid! bit of WD, leave for 10 mins then some vice grips as said above. mite shear all the same sounds as if its tight.

could also try and tighten it slightly first then loosen it

I had the same problem with one on a 106, rounded off and mole grips just mashed it up more ended up buying an Irwin rounded bolt removal set.
iirc was about Ł20 for the set but did the trick!

The next thing i would do now is put the bleed nipple in a vice and rock the caliper back and forth its going to do one of 2 fings it will come out or it will brake but your at that stage were theres no going back . if it brakses you will have to drillit out and thats best off the car .......GOOD LOOK......

Try a good quality set of moles good teeth or straight nose ones with good teeth and some heat ,u gonna be better with this off and in a bench vice or try locking it in the vice with some wd40 and heat ..good luck

stud extractors mate, take it to a garage mate, cost you a tenner and they might even have a nipple for you
