Default Whats it worth?

Hi all,

new to this site but had my Cosworth more than 10 yrs and had RS cars before that.

the time has come to sell my Saff but I'm not having too much luck.

The question is has much are they worth in bits e.g. what would be a rough price for the following

Cloth interior
AP 6 pot 330mm
Compomotive magnesium TH3 wheels ET35
Pace alloy rad
Pace alloy intercooler
Harvey Gibbs built engine (420bhp)
standard box
diffs
Koni suspension
good shell

You will get decent money for your parts mate, how much exactly i dont no, e-bay is worth a shot

Your engine if receipted with proof and few miles will be worth a fair bit

What price are you looking for the whole car?

Breaking cars is ok if your not in need of the cash straight away, it can take a while to get rid of it all

Post a pic of it

i've put it up for 7k, guess thats too much but i hate to see it go for much less.
I have put thousands into it and i know that doesn't mean much to anyone else but its a proper motor and hasn't turned a wheel in years, only done 8000 miles since it was built in 2001.

don't need cash just don't use the car and it seems a waste to have it sat in garage

been for sale for a month and only had 1 person look at it.

I guess they're not as popular as they once were but it pisses on subarus, evos and the like and you don't have to fix it every week.

I am just interested in what its worth in bits because I keep getting offers of 5k and I think that is nothing for a car like this. I could break it in my garage and hopefully get more than 5k

any advice or approx prices appreciated

thanks

I see your car mate, its a nice example, i suggest putting it on here as theres more of a want if you like for them

7k doesnt seem that much considering your engine, i think people may be slightly put of it as its been of the road for so long, altho that goes for nothing

If you try here or e-bay, or wait for the summer to come and it doesnt sell then you could try braking it, shame as the pic of the big flame iss nice

Hang tight mate, im waiting to sell mine but i feel the same as you, i dont want it to go for pennys

I have looked after it while its been off the road but i know what you mean

it will definitely need new fuel and a set up on a dyno

not exactly the end of the world though I guess I'll just hang on a bit more

cheers for the feedback

as johnny says hang onto it and stick to your price

people will be like why would i buy it for 7k when i can get one for 5k

and your front brakes alone are nearly 2k new alone never mind a gen harvey gibbs engine

people are too tight and misrable theyd rather buy a cos for 3k and pour 5k into it than just buy a decent 1 to start with

Put it back to standard or as close as you can, sell it, then sell the special bits seperately.

Sell your brakes to me, for instance.

ah but for how much?

and then you'll need wheels that fit and keep the offset

not easy to find I had my wheels custom made by Compomotive they took 3 months to arrive from Italy
