mt75 gearbox query
hi guys just wanted to confirm that the mt75 4x4 box out of a 2.0 dohc xr4x4 will fit the Yb engine and is the same box as the sapphy and escos.
I know the 2.8/9's had a different bolt spacing on the gearbox but i think the 2.0 dohc engine has same as a cossie....
So just for peace of mind as i'm thinking of buying one...and the bellhousings are integral so i need to be sure

If you dont do this then the clutch wont engage as the travel is different on the 2 litre version as the flywheel is thicker

This I found out the hard way but box has been good as gold for a couple of years now and was a lot cheaper without the dreaded cosworth word
