you'll need to change your life style and eating habits

dont miss breakfast

i want to lose it and keep it off, but i know people who are doing the weight watchers diet and they can eat what they want by counting their calories for their day.

could that also work? some days i could just eat 2 things then other days i cant stop eatingdoes special k help you lose weight?

if i started the gym will that not only tone me up,i wana lose weight then get toned upi would give anything to lose weight, soo hard

Im a Slimming World consultant, i would definitely recommend the plan to anyone, men especially as you dont need to go hungry to lose weight unlike many " diets ".

You will find as a man that your weight loss will be in the region of 2-3lbs weekly on an average, if you stick at it 100%.

Might be something to consider....

The thing with WW is that it is calorie controlled, but not neccessarily in the healthiest way, as you can realistically waste all of your points on a big mac then starve yourself for the rest of the day, as you have exceeded your daily allowance.

SW is also calorie controlled, but it doesnt feel like it as you have lists of unlimited free foods which you can eat, without measuring any time of the day, things like lean meat, poultry, pasta, rice, potatoes fish, eggs, low fat dairy products, fruit and veg, with small amounts of bread and cereals.

special k alone wont help you lose weight, reducing the amount of calories you consume and exceeding the amount you normally use will make you lose weight.

Ive lost 2.5st and ive got another 1st to go i think, maybe 1.5st ill see how i fare. I know ill be at target by April at the latest

Hi Mate, Here is a bit i wrote for Coldo on his Post.

This is a Fair read but will Help You.

I Have a few freinds who are Pro Body Builders who have helped me and i have learned a Bloody Lot over the Last Two years.

Best Way to shift the extra lbs is do some cardio as soon as you wake in the morning before any food/breakfast,you only need to do 20mins but is so effective its unreal.

I understand this aint for everyone so even cutting back on the amount of carbs you have in a day (this is how i did it) When im cutting and when i lost most of my weight it was due to cutting back on Carbs big time. I still ate loads of high Protein,Chicken etc but i cut back on the likes of all Bread and Pasta etc and this works very very well.

I wouldnt recommend doing a totall cut out of all carbs as u need them for energy and you will get mega tired, i had to live on sugar free Red Bull (it has zero carbs) to keep me awake during the day.

Cut back on Carbs and have plenty Protein and u will notice a diff,if u can add 20 mins Cardio (bike, treadmill etc) AFTER your workout this will help big time too.

At the mo i have a nice Belly on me too lol as im on 8 weeks of Bulking but when cut in jan i should loose it all and be nice and ripped.

The diet below is Good and dosent have that much Carbs and would do pretty well for you, if u can u could remove some of the sourses of carbs from it to make it work better for you.

Main thing is Dont Rush, Take your time, Most people loose interest as they want a fast result, I treat myself once a week to ANY meal i want (cheat meal), Last sat was a Belter of a 4 Course indian that would feed an army, but the follwoing day i was back to eating good and i put on Zero Weight.

This way it saves me getting bored of the good eating and gives me something to look farward to on a Sat Night.

Hope this Helps Mate

Diet:

During the day I drink around 2-3 Litres of water as well as the below

This diet is a a Guide for you. To sum it up if you can aim to get around 25g of Protein per meal and Keep carbs low (less than 20g) if you can you wont go far wrong, You also need to make sure you get some Good fats in you aswell, like Nuts etc or Fish.

7.30 breakfast:

Porridge: 50g oats + skimmed milk
Large Scoop of Whey Protein
200ml SKIMMED milk

10.00am:
125g chicken breast
Oat Cake
Fruit
Mug green tea
Daily Vitamin Tablet
1 Super Omega 3

12.30:

180g tuna or chicken breast
30g wholemeal pasta or basmati rice
Large mixed salad
Mug green tea

15.00

100g chicken breast
2 oatcakes
Fruit
Mug green tea
1 super omega 3

Evening meal.5pm

150g lean red meat or 150-200g of Chicken
40g wholemeal pasta or 40g basmati rice or 2-3 small boiled new potatoes
1 super omega 3

60 Mins Pre-Workout:

Creatine CEE, 6 Tablets

45 mins pre-workout

20g whey protein powder in water 50g of RAW Oats and 3 Amino Acids

25 mins pre-workout

NOX PUMP or 500ml Energy Drink (160mg caffeine )

7pm weight training

Immediately post workout:

40g whey protein powder + 5g glutamine in water. Dextrose and 3 Amino Acids

60 mins later Large Chicken on Pita

22.30 Bed Time Protein Shake and Cottage Cheese

Training Wise:

Current idea on what i train on what days

Monday: Chest and Bi then 20mins Cardio
Tues: Cardio
Wed: Back and Tri then 20 mins Cardio
Thur:Killer Leg Sesh then Home to die
Fri:Shoulders and Abs then 20 mins Cardio
Sat:40 mins Cardio

Try doing its Natural First before you even think about any Help (i.e) ECA Stacks etc. Get Yourself into a Routine THEN if your struggling for Motivation/Energy maybe take something to help.

s for all the advice people, but i think it just depends on your body, and how well it adapts to losing weight, hopefully goodi agree aswell that you should have some kind of treat every week or youl just want to give up if your craving something esp after a nite out!...

Raw oats are as they come and not cooked, straight from the bag, but by all means add some Water and microwave for 2 mins to get some more taste from them.

A Huge Bag of Oats from the likes of Asda is about Ł1.

..all i will say is plenty of good clean balanced food, then go to the gym, start working out it will make dieting easier...for some reason it is easier not to cheat and eat junk if you are having a good workout 3 times a week...as for routines just ask the local trainer to show ya...it will work if you really try...
