its not about what you weight it about how you look im 23, 5ft.9 and 15.8 but dont look it

what do you wanna do just lose weight? or keep it off?

you'll need to change your life style and eating habits

east 6 small meals (snacks) a dau insted of 3 main meals

dont miss breakfast

start weight training

30mins cardio in the morning before breakfast

bigpower 04-12-2008 09:43 PM

Im a Slimming World consultant, i would definitely recommend the plan to anyone, men especially as you dont need to go hungry to lose weight unlike many " diets ".

You will find as a man that your weight loss will be in the region of 2-3lbs weekly on an average, if you stick at it 100%.

Might be something to consider.... ;-)

The thing with WW is that it is calorie controlled, but not neccessarily in the healthiest way, as you can realistically waste all of your points on a big mac then starve yourself for the rest of the day, as you have exceeded your daily allowance.

SW is also calorie controlled, but it doesnt feel like it as you have lists of unlimited free foods which you can eat, without measuring any time of the day, things like lean meat, poultry, pasta, rice, potatoes fish, eggs, low fat dairy products, fruit and veg, with small amounts of bread and cereals.

special k alone wont help you lose weight, reducing the amount of calories you consume and exceeding the amount you normally use will make you lose weight.

Ive lost 2.5st and ive got another 1st to go i think, maybe 1.5st ill see how i fare. I know ill be at target by April at the latest :DD:

Hi Mate, Here is a bit i wrote for Coldo on his Post.

This is a Fair read but will Help You.

I Have a few freinds who are Pro Body Builders who have helped me and i have learned a Bloody Lot over the Last Two years.

Best Way to shift the extra lbs is do some cardio as soon as you wake in the morning before any food/breakfast,you only need to do 20mins but is so effective its unreal.

I understand this aint for everyone so even cutting back on the amount of carbs you have in a day (this is how i did it) When im cutting and when i lost most of my weight it was due to cutting back on Carbs big time. I still ate loads of high Protein,Chicken etc but i cut back on the likes of all Bread and Pasta etc and this works very very well.

I wouldnt recommend doing a totall cut out of all carbs as u need them for energy and you will get mega tired, i had to live on sugar free Red Bull (it has zero carbs) to keep me awake during the day.

Cut back on Carbs and have plenty Protein and u will notice a diff,if u can add 20 mins Cardio (bike, treadmill etc) AFTER your workout this will help big time too.

At the mo i have a nice Belly on me too lol as im on 8 weeks of Bulking but when cut in jan i should loose it all and be nice and ripped.

The diet below is Good and dosent have that much Carbs and would do pretty well for you, if u can u could remove some of the sourses of carbs from it to make it work better for you.

Main thing is Dont Rush, Take your time, Most people loose interest as they want a fast result, I treat myself once a week to ANY meal i want (cheat meal), Last sat was a Belter of a 4 Course indian that would feed an army, but the follwoing day i was back to eating good and i put on Zero Weight.

This way it saves me getting bored of the good eating and gives me something to look farward to on a Sat Night.

Hope this Helps Mate

its not that simple for most people though is it ;-)

Bradz 06-12-2008 07:26 PM

Raw oats are as they come and not cooked, straight from the bag, but by all means add some Water and microwave for 2 mins to get some more taste from them.

A Huge Bag of Oats from the likes of Asda is about £1.

..all i will say is plenty of good clean balanced food, then go to the gym, start working out it will make dieting easier...for some reason it is easier not to cheat and eat junk if you are having a good workout 3 times a week...as for routines just ask the local trainer to show ya...it will work if you really try...
