Hi guys, can any of you recommend a very good 195/50/15 Tyre to be used on road and the odd track day. i used to use the old directional goodyear eagle f1 but they dont make then any longer. shame because they were super grippy both in the wet and dry and lasted well.

Uniroyals are fooking dreadful lol.

I really rate continental tyres, use the conti sport contact 3's on my focus.

 

Rainsport 2s are great on my OH Fiesta ST, great in the dry, phenomenal in the wet. Not great on high loadings though (92Y for instance) granted, but good for the smaller car.

But in 195/50/15 i'd go for a nice cheap toyo t1s that are nice and soft n grippy. At £30 odd a corner you can afford to replace them whenever it's needed for track use, but not that great in the wet.
