Default Tyres for drag racing on Cossie?

Anyone have experience in what tyres are best for drag racing? I have tried Toyo R888, Yogohama ADVAN, etc, but they do not last very long....
I am looking for better tyres/slicks.

I did found Hoosier, DOT Drag Radial 225x50xR15, any good?

Appreciate your comments on this

Yes you want to use the Hoosiers, 888's or the Yokos aren't really a drag tyre.

I hope you have a strong diff !

I'd look at M&H Racemaster wrinklewall slicks

I hope you have a beefy diff and prop?

Or those, basically a drag tyre, not a circuit tyre.

Well I hope the new diff will hold, it is a Supra 4,1:1 lsd diff, rebuild and fit for race
And the old T5 gearbox is replaced by a C4/C5 rebuild automatic gearbox, manual valve body with a racing kit from TransGo, and a Precision 2800 high stall converter.
Lets see if we can not improve the 1/4 mile time...

I had some gear shift trouble last season, so my times where slow....13,3 sec and 111 mph, lots of wheel spin.... I did 8,7 sec on 1/8 mile again, very slow gearshift... It turned out the clutch was almost done and maybe the box is not in 100% shape...but that does not matter now.
I am going for improvement this season I hope to be able to reach max speed on the 1/4 mile track, that's why I am looking at tires and tire size. I can use Toyo R888 (only 22,4") should reach appr. 120 mph@7000 rpm and I can go for 25" size appr. 128 mph, which is probably the size I should go for, but again I don't know how the car will react on the start line wit this new setup....
