Right question for anybody what differnce in power is the 1.6 early zetec with efi on inlet manifold and the later 1.6 zetec engine??

think the later one is just cheaper to produce.

ok its just iv driven hers and then mine and hers seems the bit faster so thought id ask as i wana change engines this year just dont wana go too mad as insurance will go up

which one does yours have? you can just drop the 2 litre in using your sump pickup pipe, waterpump and alt belt assembly.

mine has the top pic the 1.6 with the efi on inlet casting thats what i first thought 2.0 but thought if there was say 5-10 bhp differennce i could try that dont need 2 fast just sumat else as mines 100k+ and started leaking oil here and there so and wana do shows this year b4 i get rid
