removed all the underseal from the inner wing today and above where the lower arm is bolted ,its cracked .do i just weld it up or what are the tried and tested methods.
next i have twin bolt front suspension ,if i used any other mk3/4 strut is it simple as fit the twin bolt tops with said items.
are there any difference in xr3 and rs1600i lower arms as i have both spareand need to replace one,will fit as pair.
any info appreciated

If you have a good welder with enough current just weld it up.

I dont think the twin bolt suspension tops will mix with the more conventional younger type.

Both bottom TCA's are the same.
