Just bin to view a 1996 Fiesta Mk4 1.3 Encore, for my 1st car. And there was gunge under the filler cap, what problems could occur because of it?

nowt mate they all do it ...people get qorried cos they think head gaskets gone but with that engine its usually down to short journeys causing oil to not get hot enough and creates condensation this mixes with the oil and creates the goo you have seen

its there every service
