Alrite folks - hope someone can help me. My mate has a carb fed XR3. The car is standard stock no mods etc. The car has difficulty starting and when it does it runs very lumpy. Prior to being put away at the end of the summer the car had a tendency to cut-out when you changed down a gear ie when you dipped the clutch. Sometimes when you came up to the traffic lights you have to knock it into neutral and keep the engine revs up or it will cut out. The car also honks of petrol at times when it runs extremely poorly. It's had new control module, fuel pump, dizzy cap etc etc all to no avail. Only thing that's not been done is changing or mucking around with the carb. HEEELPPP, anyone got any ideas
