Lucas&bosch dizzys help needed

Lucas&bosch dizzys help needed
Me old mans got a problem with his car a 1.4 carb cvh orion its got no spark we have changed the coil twice with 2 we no that are good but it didnt sort it out only thing i can think is its the distributor is fooked we have been down scrappy but they only have the lucas dizzy and not the bosch one which we need
can you use either one of these or do you have to use the one thats originaly fitted to car???

Its deff got to be the dizzy but cant get hold of the bosch one can get loads lucas ones just need no if there diffrent plugs on them as every thing else should be ok any one no???

I can't see why they would be diffrent as they're for the same engine.
I'd just try it and see. If it's the wrong one then u could sell it on ebay for more than u paid for it

I reckon.....you should try gettin the igniton module on it tested
Bet you a jam tart the igniton module has gone
(black box on the dizzy and has a 3 pin wiring plug, know what i mean?)
Oh and if you do need a new dizzy or anything, i can probably source you one
