changed the plug's aswell swaped them around just to make sure as
this morning it just felt jerky when driving so changed the plug's and
it then it went down on no 4 so changed lead's still the same then
swaped plug's still the same

left it running and took a lead at a time of the coil pack and no spark
of number 4

thank's mark

I doubt very much its the coil pack, 1 and 4 fire at the same time, as do 2 and 3, as suggested try your leads and/or spark plugs

if the missfire is on number 4, the swap number 4 and number 1 HT leads round on the coilpack and see if the missfire moves to number 1.

if it stays on 4 with the leads swapped round then its a lead/plug/injector problem, if it goes over to number 1 then its youre coilpack.

The only thing i would say is the fault staying on number 4 when he swaps them could also mean number 4 HT lead is faulty, but this is a good idea

coil pack mate done loads of em ..usually prob start by fitting non ford plugs which creates a missfire that in turn wrecks leads then coil
