What does ECT stand for?

I've tried searching to no avail

Engine coolant Temp

EDIT: sometimes seems a little confusing,
as the cosworth uses a ECT sender for the ECU

and right next to it is the Water temp sender, for the gauge on the dash.
they are not the same sensor
