Default cozzy tick over problem

About a month ago my saffs tick over has risen to around 1100 rpm from 850ish.
Ive cleaned and checked the plugs dizzy cap etc and have adjusted the screw under the thottle body,but it still the revs wont go down enough.
any thoughts?

Hello mate take the idol valve out and give it a good clean with wd40 that will sort it mate

Possible air leak on inlet side. check all your connections

Hi Ste,

iscv on the throttle body.

unscrew the 2 screws and pull it off,really hard to pull off as it may be stuck on.

good clean with wd 40 and should be ok.

if not, about Ł80 for a new one.

oh, try unplugging it first, it will idle perfect as long as you have not turned the idle screw too much.

cheers people ive tried the iscv and made no difference it must be an air leak some where i guess?

Hi Mate,
Also worth checking the breather pipe from cranckase oil seperator these can sometimes split and suck in air past the non return valve on the bottom of the the plenum chamber.
