About a month ago my saffs tick over has risen to around 1100 rpm from 850ish.
Ive cleaned and checked the plugs dizzy cap etc and have adjusted the screw under the thottle body, but it still the revs wont go down enough.

Hi Ste,
iscv on the throttle body.
unscrew the 2 screws and pull it off, really hard to pull off as it may be stuck on.
good clean with wd 40 and should be ok.
if not, about Ł80 for a new one.
oh, try unplugging it first, it will idle perfect as long as you have not turned the idle screw too much.

Hi Mate,
Also worth checking the breather pipe from cranckase oil seperator these can sometimes split and suck in air past the non return valve on the bottom of the the plenum chamber.
Mike.
